Each week a Reddit user named Metaweed has a post listing the top news in the gaming world, so here’s what’s going on. I’m sure you’ve heard that the Pokemon GO event that was held in Chicago was a disaster. There were so many people in one spot the cell phones couldn’t get good signals, there was wifi but only for staff, and the CEO of Niantic (The Pokemon Company) was even boo’d by the crowd when he was introduced to speak. Also, no surprise here, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS sold over 5 million copies. Yup, the game is huge. Some other stuff happened too, take a look.
