I thought this was pretty neat. A developer of Event[0], a sci-fi chatbot game released September 2016, posted on twitter that he just found out his game had a fourth ending! He first found out about this secret ending from the games Wikipedia page which details how to make the fourth ending appear. This ending is actually a bug that the developers didn’t know about but the community thought was a secret easter egg. The developers are having fun with the idea and have no plans to remove this from the game. Things like this are unexpected and made that much more fun when developers admit they had no idea about the bugs but embrace it instead of patching it.
As one of the developers, game designers and writers, I know that the game features only three endings. I mean, I wrote them.

So we made a game with an ending so secret we didn’t even know it ourselves. Emergent storytelling, I guess?
